The Research and Consultation Department at the Faculty of Medicine in Sabratha, in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Office at Sabratha Educational Hospital, organized a workshop this morning, Monday, December 2, 2024, on the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research. The workshop included several topics, including: 1. How to write scientific papers 2. Important artificial intelligence tools that are considered supported writing tools, such as Scispace, OpenRead, ChatGpt.com, and others. 3. Important websites that help researchers obtain scientific references, including Core, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar, held in Dr. Ismail Al-Tabini Auditorium at Sabratha Educational Hospital. The workshop was presented by Dr. Nafi Muhammad Al-Shaibani, a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering at Sabratha University, specializing in Communication Engineering, a research reviewer for international journals and conferences, and an expert in the applications of artificial intelligence in scientific research. The workshop highlighted the importance of using artificial intelligence in scientific research and its development through various features and advantages that can accelerate scientific discoveries and improve data understanding. The workshop witnessed active participation from university professors, graduate students, and university students, as well as a group of interested individuals and followers in this field, aiming to expand participants' understanding of the uses of artificial intelligence in scientific research. This workshop is part of the annual plan of the Research Department, which includes organizing various scientific activities targeting the academic staff in all its segments.
