The Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies in Tripoli hosted a workshop on the international classification of universities, with the participation of the QS World University Rankings organization. The workshop focused on the importance of ranking for universities, the key criteria used by QS for classification, the trust the organization enjoys among academic and scientific institutions, as well as the deadlines for submission to be included in the rankings, and the promotion of a ranking culture among the components of the educational process in universities. 

The University of Sabratha emphasized its administration's interest in ranking and its aim to be among the top positions locally and to enter international rankings through QS, affirming the significant work being done by the university's ranking committee. 

Representing the University of Sabratha at this workshop were: Dr. Rajab Al-Tebini, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Al-Mabrouk Abou Qudaira, Director of the Research, Consulting, and Training Center; Dr. Omar Khalifa Dou, Director of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Office; Dr. Abu Bakr Saleh, Director of the International Cooperation Office; and Dr. Nagy Al-Gharabli, Head of the Quality Department at the Faculty of Arts and Education in Sabratha.
