On the occasion of World Nursing Day, which falls on May 12 each year, and under the slogan "Together we bring smiles to our patients' faces," the Faculty of Nursing in Sorman organized a celebration in honor of nursing professionals and in an effort to elevate community concepts regarding the nursing profession. 

The celebration was attended by the University’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Abdul Razak Khalat, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Aisha Al-Bashir, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology in Sorman, Dr. Abdul Rouf Al-Amir, several representatives from relevant public entities, faculty members and staff, as well as officials and workers in the health sector, along with a group of interested parties and students from the college.
The event began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by standing for the national anthem. Subsequently, speeches were delivered highlighting the importance of nursing in providing healthcare to all segments of society and the role of educational institutions in developing this profession. 
The celebration also included several other segments, including a medical exhibition that reflects the reality and profession of nursing, as well as visual and artistic presentations that depict the reality of nursing in our community. 
The day concluded with the honoring of several individuals recognized for their dedication and professionalism over many years in the nursing profession at health centers and public hospitals, as well as honoring several invited guests targeted for recognition, and all those who contributed to the organization and success of this event.
