On Tuesday morning, the audit team assigned by the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions, under Decision No. (243) of 2025, visited the Faculty of Engineering at Sabratha University to conduct an audit for granting the technical license for the postgraduate (Master’s) program in Electrical Power Engineering within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The team was chaired by Prof. Dr. Suleiman Abu Garara Al-Ruqaybi.

The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, the Director of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Office at the University, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the Head of Postgraduate Studies, the Head of Quality and Performance Evaluation, as well as the Head and faculty members of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The visit commenced with an introductory meeting that included welcoming remarks, followed by a presentation outlining the Faculty, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and its postgraduate programs, with particular focus on the new program. The team then conducted a field tour of the postgraduate laboratories, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and the Faculty Library, before reviewing the documents and requirements for the Master’s program in Electrical Power Engineering.
