Sorman Faculty of Languages, in collaboration with the University’s Office of International Cooperation, organized a specialized workshop titled “Equipping Future TESL Teachers with Tools for the 21st Century English Classroom,” with the participation of faculty members from several colleges.
The workshop was delivered by a visiting trainer from the College of Science and Technology, University of Doha – Qatar, focusing on developing English language teachers’ competencies, bridging theory and practice, and integrating modern technologies such as artificial intelligence in language teaching.
It addressed key TESL teacher competencies, effective teaching methods, practical training, classroom observation, and continuous professional development.
The workshop aimed to enhance the quality of English language teacher preparation in line with modern educational demands and to improve overall teaching outcomes
