On Monday, July 22, 2024, the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions received the institutional accreditation documents and files from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Sabratha University.

The handover ceremony was attended by the General Director of the Center, the Director of the Accreditation Department, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Sreiba, the Director of the Quality Office at the university, Mr. Bashir Al-Dabousi, the Head of the Quality Department at the Faculty, Dr. Imad Abouhalala, the Head of the Information and Documentation Department at the Faculty, Mr. Rabi Ghareeb, and faculty member Dr. Saleh Khallat.

The Center’s officials praised the efforts and dedication of the faculty staff in their pursuit of institutional accreditation, reflecting their commitment to continuously applying and implementing quality standards at the college.

In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Center for the warm reception and highlighted the efforts made by all components of the Faculty, under the university's supervision, in preparing the accreditation documents.

The Director of the Quality Office at the university commended the Center's significant role in enhancing the educational process at Libyan universities and noted that Sabratha University aims to submit accreditation documents for several other faculties in the near future.

At the end of the ceremony, the documents were formally handed over to the Accreditation Department at the Center. Best wishes were extended to the Faculty of Economics and the university's other faculties in their pursuit of institutional and programmatic accreditation.
