As part of strengthening academic and cultural cooperation and fostering partnerships with research institutions both locally and internationally, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cultural and scientific cooperation was signed today, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the late Hisham Al-Faqi Hall at Sabratha University Headquarters between Sabratha University and the African Research and Studies Center.
The MoU was signed by the University President, Prof. Dr. Salem Al-Hrishi, in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of the International Cooperation Office, and the Director of Postgraduate Studies, while the Center was represented by its Director, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Halak, accompanied by members of his delegation.
The agreement aims to enrich scientific, intellectual, and cultural output and to promote cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Its provisions include organizing conferences and seminars, publishing joint research, exchanging scientific visits, and collaborating in training, experience sharing, and joint academic and scientific programs across various fields.
