The Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Archaeology at Sabratha University participated in a national dialogue held at the Mahari Radisson Blu Hotel on “Preserving Cultural and Tourism Heritage and Its Role in Development.”
The event discussed the importance of protecting national heritage in all its forms and its role in promoting sustainable development and strengthening cultural identity, as well as enhancing cooperation between academic institutions and stakeholders in the tourism and handicrafts sector.
The dialogue emphasized the importance of involving Libyan universities, particularly faculties of tourism and archaeology, in supporting heritage preservation efforts and developing the tourism sector, thereby strengthening Libya’s regional and international presence.
