In the context of the efforts of the administration of Sabratha University to enhance the academic process and strengthen scientific cooperation at the local and international levels, Sabratha University, represented by its President, Professor Salem Al-Hreishi, and Jadara University, represented by its President, Professor Mohammed Taleb Obaidat, signed a joint scientific and cultural cooperation agreement. This was attended by the Libyan Cultural Attaché in Jordan, Mr. Ahmed Al-Binouni, and Dr. Shrouq Al-Ma'abra, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Jadara University.
According to the terms included in the agreement, its aim is to enhance the prospects for cooperation between the two universities in academic, research, and scientific fields, and to strengthen academic relations between the two countries through the exchange of visits between students, researchers, and faculty members from both universities.
The President of Jadara University, on the sidelines of the agreement, emphasized that what distinguishes Jadara University is its constant focus on establishing international partnerships with Arab and foreign universities. He pointed out that the agreement stipulated cooperation between the two parties in exchanging scientific programs and consultations for faculty members and students, conducting joint research, holding seminars, conferences, and scientific sessions between the two parties, and exchanging visits.
For his part, the President of Sabratha University, Professor Salem Al-Hreishi, expressed his happiness at signing the agreement, as it will result in scientific exchange that benefits both parties. During his tour within the campus of Jadara University, he praised the infrastructure it enjoys and learned about the specializations and programs implemented by the university that meet the labor market requirements, aiming to achieve the highest quality standards in educational, research, and organizational activities and to develop the teaching staff.
The Libyan Cultural Advisor in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Ahmed Al-Binouni, praised Jadara University, affirming The importance of continuous and distinguished cooperation and communication at various levels and aspects that serve the interests of the educational process for Libyan students at the university. The signing of this agreement comes on the sidelines of the third international peer-reviewed conference of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Jadara University, with the participation of the President of Sabratha University in attending the conference and chairing one of its sessions.
