As part of the university’s efforts to activate partnership and cooperation agreements with educational institutions and various service sectors, the Faculty of Engineering at Sabratha University, in collaboration with the Libyan Academy – Western Coast Branch, organized a workshop titled: “Cooperation Strategies for Building Sustainable Relationships Between Engineering Education Institutions and Industrial and Service Sectors.”

The workshop, hosted at the Training Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, brought together representatives from a number of public and private industrial and service institutions and companies, including the National Oil Corporation, the General Electricity Company, the Zawiya Oil Refining and Gas Company, Mellitah Oil and Gas Company, and Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Company.

The workshop aimed to enhance cooperation between educational institutions in engineering fields and industrial and service companies, particularly in training and development, with the goal of achieving academic excellence, technological innovation, and sustainable development. It also sought to facilitate the transfer of technology and innovations from laboratories to the labor market, as well as to establish sustainable strategic partnerships that ensure ongoing progress and distinction.
