The Office of Research and Consultations at the Faculty of Science, Sabratha University, organized a scientific workshop titled “Towards an Ethical Research Environment: Quality of Academic Supervision in Confronting Commercial Thesis Services,” aimed at promoting research integrity and improving the quality of academic supervision.
The workshop addressed key themes including the current state of academic supervision, the rights and duties charter, legal and ethical implications and risks of purchasing research, as well as practical solutions and proposed initiatives.
The event witnessed active discussion and engagement from faculty members and postgraduate students, resulting in a set of recommendations to be submitted to the University administration for future implementation.
