Within the framework of the university administration’s interest and follow-up to the work of the training and research centers affiliated with Sabratha University, the University President, Prof. Dr. Salem Al-Harishi, met this Tuesday morning with the research team affiliated with the Center for Historical and Archaeological Research and Studies at Sabratha University, which was formed in accordance with the decision of the university presidency regarding the implementation of the research study submitted by the center entitled (The cultural and economic dimensions of the Jabal Nafusa palaces, a geographical, historical and archaeological study) In addition to the presence of the head and members of the research team, the meeting witnessed the presence of the university’s Undersecretary for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Rajab Al-Tabini, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mansour Ali Al-Muntaser, where the meeting included a presentation of the practical and scientific steps that have been accomplished, as well as a detailed explanation supported by pictures of the scientific field visits carried out by the team, which targeted the sites and places subject to the research study. The difficulties and obstacles that faced and are facing the research team were also presented in this meeting, with the aim of To overcome them and find appropriate solutions to overcome them, research proposals submitted by the center were also presented for projects worthy of attention and study. In conclusion, the university president, a member of the advisory committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the university’s deputy for scientific affairs praised the practical and scientific efforts made by the team in order to enrich the research.
