Masoud Al-Madhoun Al-Ghanoudi A. Tareq Khalifa Edbara Today, Thursday, August 31, the ceremony of handing over and receiving the duties of Dean of the College took place today, Thursday, August 31, between the former dean, Dr. Ayyad Saad Al-Marrib, and the current dean, Dr. Khaled Amara Al-Manasir. The handing over and receiving process took place in an atmosphere of friendliness and mutual respect between everyone, and in his speech upon receipt. Today, Wednesday, August 30, the quality culture dissemination team at Sabratha University visited the Al-Jameel College of Public Health. This visit came to review the procedures and steps that have been completed in the accreditation requirements file. institutional before submitting it to the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions for accreditation

The team reviewed the files on institutional accreditation standards and what had been reached. The team was received by the Dean of the College, the Head of the College’s Quality Department, members of the self-study report preparation team, the strategic plan team, and quality coordinators in the scientific departments.

After reviewing what had been accomplished, the team members expressed their admiration for the file that had been prepared according to the required standards. The team members also thanked all components of the educational process for their efforts to prepare the file, which will be submitted to the center during the next week.

The difficulties facing general education that directly affect the quality of outcomes were also discussed, as well as a discussion of some regulations governing the educational process that can be used to establish joint cooperation and develop a long-term work strategy to achieve common goals. Which would advance the educational process and its outcomes in general and higher education. At the conclusion of the meeting, everyone expressed their satisfaction with what they had achieved in this fruitful meeting, and stressed the necessity of holding continuous periodic meetings to follow up on the joint programs that had been agreed upon to be implemented.

Yesterday, Saturday, an awareness lecture was held in the hall of the Sorman College of Law on the importance of choosing a university major. It targeted students with a high school diploma applying to the university stage. The lecture was organized by trainer Abdul Raouf Al-Jaroushi in cooperation between the Dar Al-Hekma Scientific Cultural Association in Sorman and the Sorman Education Monitoring. The lecture covers several topics, the most important of which are:
– The importance of choosing the appropriate specialization
– Capabilities and desires and their impact on choice
– Future job opportunities
– Scholarships and how to obtain them. Among the attendees were the Dean of the College of Law in Sorman, the Dean of the College of Education in Sorman, and the Superintendent of Education in the Municipality of Sorman. The head of civil society institutions and a large number of students graduating from high school this year also participated, and everyone expressed their appreciation. The dialogue symposium activities were held this Thursday morning in the hall of the Faculty of Human Medicine in Sabratha (Governance and its role in enhancing transparency in good institutions), which was organized by the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Authority in the Western Region and the College of Human Medicine, Sabratha, in cooperation with the National Institute of Administration, Al-Zawiya Branch.
