Today, Monday, September 4, the College of Nursing, Sorman, organized a group graduation ceremony for the students of the ninth batch for the academic year 2022-2023 AD. The ceremony, which was hosted in the amphitheater of the Sorman Medical Colleges Complex, included many speeches that conveyed Its content includes congratulations, encouragement, and motivation to continue the path of effort and struggle in the field of science and knowledge

The ceremony also included an introductory visual presentation about the college, its scientific departments, and its educational career in both aspects (theoretical and practical).

The ceremony witnessed the presence of the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at the University, the General Registrar of the University, the Dean of the College, a number of deans of the colleges of Sabratha University, and a number of directors of departments and offices at the University. The celebration was also honored by the presence of scientific and professional figures in the medical fields, in addition to the presence of a number of university professors, employees, guests, parents, and a number of the students

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduates were honored in an atmosphere of happiness, joy, congratulations and congratulations

Within the framework of the continuous follow-up of the progress of studies and examinations in the university’s faculties, this morning, Sunday, September 3, 2023, the University’s General Registrar, A. Fathi Al-Filali, accompanied by the Director of the Office of Study and Examinations in the Administration of the General Registrar, made an inspection field visit to the Faculty of Medicine, Sabratha, in order to review the progress of the final exams for the first round of the academic year 2022-2023 AD.

The Registrar General’s tour of the examination halls was accompanied by the Dean of the College, Dr. Rabie Alwan Yahya. At the conclusion of the visit, the Registrar General expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Dean of the College and all the staff working there to provide the appropriate atmosphere for the students taking the exams, wishing success in the management and success of the educational process.

The Director of the University Affairs Department at the Ministry of Education, Mr Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Feki and his accompanying delegation this morning, Sunday, September 3, made an inspection field visit to Sabratha University. This visit comes within the framework of following up on the start of the academic year 2023-2024 AD and checking on the progress of the educational process in the university’s colleges. The fifteenth meeting of the Faculty Affairs Committee for the year 2023 was held this morning, Thursday, August 31, 2023, in the meeting room of the University Office, in the presence of the Chairman of the Committee and members of the Committee. Part of the meeting was also attended by the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at the University, who praised the efforts of the Committee members in accomplishing the assigned tasks. The meeting reviewed and discussed the following items: First item: Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
The second item: Presenting the evaluators’ responses to the scientific production related to the promotion of faculty members
Third item: Presenting the files of faculty members applying for promotion to form a scientific production evaluation committee.
Fourth item: Viewing the files of faculty members applying to change grades from master’s to doctorate and from teaching assistant to master’s. Fifth item: Viewing the files of faculty members applying for the purpose of including the duration of academic experience, financial settlement, and job settlement.
