On Monday, March 3, 2025, the University of Sabratha, represented by the Office of International Cooperation, welcomed Ms. Sally Ann Boris, a representative of Atlantis for University Development (UK) and the director of Simplex, a company specializing in the production of high-precision nano-technology microscopes.

This visit aimed to explore potential cooperation agreements between the University of Sabratha and British universities. Additionally, Simplex presented its nano-technology microscopes, which could contribute to the development of laboratories, research centers, and academic facilities.

The visit included meetings attended by several university officials and representatives from various departments, including:

  • The Dean and faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering, Sabratha
  • The University’s Research, Consultation, and Training Center
  • The Office of International Cooperation at the University of Sabratha
  • The University Language Center
  • The Training Office at the Postgraduate Studies Administration

During the visit, a field tour was conducted at some laboratories within the Faculty of Engineering, Sabratha, where the delegation reviewed the existing equipment and its applications.

At the end of the visit, the University President expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Ms. Sally Ann Boris for her visit, emphasizing the university’s commitment to following up on the discussions and potential collaborations explored during the meeting.
